Google has unveiled its latest creation, Google Buzz. Google Buzz may feel a lot like other products, such as Twitter, but that does not mean it doesn’t have its uses. If you haven’t checked out Google Buzz yet, it is a lot like twitter. You can post what ever you want and people can follow what you say. GMail is increasing in popularity everyday. Google is big into integration and providing a user experience that is one stop shop. This is another step in that direction.

But, the competition are a little upset. That may be an obvious statement, but Microsoft and Yahoo have come out very quickly to chastise Google for this “late” and “boring” edition. If its such an inferior product, why be so fast to criticize it? Some people are saying that is showing how worried they are about it.

Gmail only holds about 5 percent of the total web-based e-mail users with Yahoo having 16%. They shouldn’t be that worried, but maybe they see this as a maneuver by Google to take business away. Which is exactly what they are trying to do. That’s the nature of business.
