Canon cameras are well known. But you may not have heard of the Canon PowerShot SD1200IS Digital Camera. Or maybe you have. Either way, lets run through some of the positives versus the negatives. What you need to know about this Canon Digital Camera can be summarized by the 3 P’s. Power, Price, and Pretty Customer Reviews. Ok the last one was a stretch. But thats ok because it is still relevant. Obviously this is not the top of the line, but that doesn’t mean its not great.

On the technical side, it has 10.0-megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, a DIGIC 4 Image Processor and is compatible with SD/SDHC, MMC/MMC Plus/HC MMC Plus. At 3.5 x 09.9 x 2.2 inches, it fits nicely in your hands.

It’s cost is nice as well. For $150-$180, you can pick one of these little guys up. That is a very reasonable price for a camera of this type. You can search around for deals, you may be able to find something comparable on eBay for less.

Customer satisfaction reigns supreme. Just a glance at the reviews will tell you this camera is fairly sturdy, though sometimes the pictures would come out a little dark or hazy. But, that could be caused by the settings on the camera, not the camera itself.

If you are looking at getting the Canon PowerShot SD1200 Digital Camera, make sure to do a lot of research. Though this article may be favorable, I am just one person. Look around and see if it is a good fit for you.

I just checked out the reputation of this camera at my favorite source of online customer reviews (http://aai.stage.amplifiedanalytics.com/aai/Products/V2P-Accelerator/Demo), and it is really stellar. They analyzed 218 customer reviews and came up with Product Functionality Score 1.7 out of 2 (delighted), Product Reliability and Support scores are at 1 (satisfied).
