If you want the Nexus One Google Phone, you are not alone. The current word on the smartphone street is the Nexus One features. Tnkgrl was able to try one of the Google phones out and found it to be impressive, and a smidge bit lacking in a few details. First, it’s fast. Second, it’s unlocked. Third, no multi-touch support in the browser or on Google Maps. The first two are awesome, yet the third is a bit troubling.

So what does this mean to you? That depends on who you are and what you want out of this phone. If you absolutely hate AT&T, this gives you plenty of reason to go with T-Mobile because 3G will be offered for this phone. But, because it’s unlocked you know if whoever you want. With it being unlocked, the possibilities are endless. We will have to wait and see what else comes out about this phone.

Note that it only supports GSM as far as we know, so in the US it will not run on Verizon or Sprint (CDMA networks).

Rumor has it that a CDMA version will come later next year!
