Black Friday is a huge shopping day. Maybe the largest volume of shopping is done on the day directly following Thanksgiving. Every retailer knows of the importance of this day. With that in mind, these retailers offer small to incredibly large discounts on their merchandise. Almost every consumer knows this, and plans on using it to their advantage. With consumers assuming they are going to get some sort of deal, there is a lot of room for scams.
So, what are you supposed to do? First, never feel pressured to buy anything. Most people see great deal and, even though they can’t afford it, decide to buy it. Of course, this is a quick way to debt. Also make sure you know what you’re buying. You may think you’re getting a great deal on a product only to find that it doesn’t come with many peripherals that it should. Some cameras do not come with memory cards or cases, some printers don’t come with cables.
There are also other problems to consider. Theft of your merchandise and large dangerous crowds are some things you must be aware of. Wal-Mart had an issue last year with the person being trampled on by Friday. And when you are packing that close the store, it’s much easier for your wallet personally stolen. Take care of yourself on Black Friday, good luck with finding deals and hopefully you’ll get away relatively unscathed
